Our thoughts on Quality Improvement
Our Group considers quality improvement highly crucial in building trust with its stakeholders, and we continually implement initiatives. In our Group's Code of Conduct, we emphasize "sincere dealings with stakeholders", and our corporate behavior standards state that we will "continuously strive for the improvement of quality as well as improvements to the operation processes to provide results that exceed customer expectations". Furthermore, our company follows an "Operations Manual" that was created based on ISO9001 and have received external certification for our Quality Management System.
Compliance with the "Act for Promoting Quality Assurance in Public Works" and business audits
When we are conducting business with public works, we comply with the "Act for Promoting Quality Assurance in Public Works". Additionally, our Business Audit Division ensures that meetings and inspections are conducted in accordance with the Operations Manual and verifies that everything is properly executed. The results of these audits are reported to the relevant authorities including the Executive Board.
Quality improvement of deliverables through inspection
To prevent errors and improve the quality of deliverables at various stages of the operation process, inspections are conducted at each stage with a focus on error prevention. Moreover, we regularly convene an "Inspection Committee" involving professionals from various technical fields to analyze past errors, discuss issues related to specific tasks, and to analyze and develop solutions for problems, which all contribute to the improvement in the quality of deliverables.

Enhancing service quality through the utilization of digital technology (The Core Laboratory Experiment Center "Core-Labo")
Many of the solutions provided by our Group are based on the data obtained through various means, and it is no exaggeration to say that the quality of the services is greatly influenced by the quality of the data. At The Core Laboratory Experiment Center, which conducts tests and analyses on soil, rocks, and water, we introduced AR (augmented reality) to improve the speed and accuracy of the testing, RFID (radio frequency identification) tags to make indoor tests IoT-enabled for visualizing the progress, AIs for automated testing, and the installation of testing equipment that allows for remote operation. All these applications of digital technology not only enhance quality but also improves our productivity.
