Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures
Our Group declared its support for the TCFD in December 2019, and we have been evaluating and disclosing climate-related risks and opportunities in the fiscal year 2021 based on this commitment.
The TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) was established under the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in response to the request made by the G20. As a company that provides climate change solutions to our customers as part of our business activities, our Group not only endorses the TCFD's recommendations but also actively works on the responses to climate change within our organizational activities.
30by30 for Biodiversity
Our Group has endorsed the "30by30" initiative, which aims to conserve over 30% of land and sea as natural environment areas by 2030.
We are a part of the "30by30 Alliance for Biodiversity," which supports the goal of stopping and reversing the loss of biodiversity ("Nature-Positive") by conserving more than 30% of
land and sea as healthy ecosystems. The "30by30 Alliance for Biodiversity" was established as a voluntary union of public and private stakeholders, including the Ministry of the
Environment, to achieve the 30by30 goal in Japan.
By leveraging the latest technologies and expertise we have gained through our core businesses, we will contribute to achieving the domestic targets of 30by30 and the sustainable development of society.

Carbon Disclosure Project
The CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) is a nonprofit organization (NGO) that operates a global information disclosure system for investors, companies, nations, regions and cities to manage their environmental impacts. The CDP requests companies to disclose information regarding topics such as greenhouse gas emissions and their efforts to address climate change. Our Group has been participating in this initiative since 2022 and will continue to make efforts to further disclose information while taking into account third-party objective evaluations.
The GX League
The GX League aims to achieve sustainable growth in the current and future society, with an eye toward achieving societal change and carbon neutrality in 2050. This involves collaborative discussions with government and academia to transform the entire economic and social system and put into practice the creation of new markets.
Our company, in line with the Group's environmental policy, is committed to reducing environmental impacts and environmental risks including the reduction of GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions. We also offer a variety of services and solutions that contribute to decarbonization, resource circulation, and the realization of a nature-friendly society as part of our business activities. Through our participation in the GX League, we will accelerate these efforts and contribute to the establishment of a carbon-neutral and sustainable society.
*GX (Green Transformation): This refers to the view that actions toward achieving the goal of carbon neutrality by 2050 and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 as a nation present opportunities for economic growth, and aims to transform the entire socio-economic system to achieve emission reduction and enhance industrial competitiveness.
