Overview

Groundwater is a valuable resource for local communities. It is used for many purposes, such as drinking water, agricultural and industrial water, natural gas extraction, and tourism resources. However, because surface water, such as rainfall and river water, permeates into the ground very slowly and is stored in the groundwater, collection at a level exceeding the storage amount causes depletion of groundwater, water pollution of the basin, salt damage, and ground subsidence.

OYO Corporation's technology for evaluating the potential groundwater abundance

The potential of the land to have groundwater depends heavily on the climate, topography, geological structure, etc. In order to clarify the complex geological structure and the flow mechanism of groundwater flowing through that structure, OYO Corporations conducts on-site surveys and simulation analysis using a 3D model. By predicting the abundance of groundwater in the region and the impact of pumping on the surrounding water environment, and by calculating the appropriate amount of pumping, we realize the safe, secure, and sustainable use of water resources.
